1. Scope and business customers
These terms apply to orders involving Advintage UG (limited liability), Teutonenweg 38d, 22453 Hamburg, Germany. The offer is aimed exclusively at businesses within the meaning of section 14 of the German Civil Code, not consumers; by placing an order, the customer confirms that it is acting as a business.
2. Enquiries and contract formation
Products shown on the website are not a binding offer. A website enquiry is free and non-binding. We then send an individual quotation by email; a contract is formed only when that quotation is accepted or Slickz confirms the order by email. An automated acknowledgement of the enquiry is not acceptance.
3. Prices, VAT and payment
All website prices are non-binding indications and are net plus the currently applicable German VAT of 19%. Only the prices in the individual written quotation are binding; VAT is shown separately. Tier prices apply to the total quantity in an order. Payment is by invoice under the agreed terms, and production begins after order confirmation and design approval.
4. Production, delivery and shipping
Standard production and EU-wide delivery usually take around 2–4 weeks after order confirmation and design approval. We deliver to all 27 EU member states. The exact schedule and shipping costs are calculated individually according to the destination country, project scope and quantity, number of shipments and delivery addresses, and any express requirements; only the terms in the individual quotation are binding.
5. Withdrawal and warranty
German statutory warranty rights apply. For newly produced goods supplied to businesses, the limitation period for defect claims is one year from delivery, and obvious defects must be reported promptly under section 377 of the German Commercial Code. There is no statutory right of withdrawal for business customers; individually finished goods would also fall within the custom-made-goods exclusion.
6. Retention of title and governing law
Delivered goods remain our property until paid in full. German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The place of performance and, where legally permitted, jurisdiction is Hamburg.
